		<description>I&#039;ll have to try the &quot;two-day&quot; rule here.  My family tends to be less-than-enthused when I get very efficient and make too much of something at once... and then we really don&#039;t want to eat that thing again for a LONG time.  

Giving leftovers to animals isn&#039;t a bad back-up plan, and means buying less pet food, at least.  We also say that anything going to our compost bin is not quite an entire loss, as it will be recycled into next season&#039;s fresh veggies...
